1. What is Maieutica?
Maieutica is a space for creators from different fields – artists, artisans, and writers. We create handicrafts, illustrations, portraits, texts, and books, focusing on authentic art made by human hands and minds.
2. Are the works made by hand?
Yes. All offered works are created by real artists and artisans. Each item is made individually, which is why it may have a unique character.
3. Can I order a portrait from a photo?
Yes. You only need to send a good-quality photo on the basis of which the artist will prepare the portrait. Depending on the offer, different styles and packages are available.
4. Do you create graphic design and illustrations for books?
Yes. We offer custom illustrations and covers for authors, publishers, and private projects. You can order single graphics or larger design packages.
5. Can I order a text or article?
Yes. Our offer also includes commissioned writing, including short stories, articles, and other literary forms.
6. Do you ship orders abroad?
Yes. We provide international shipping. The cost and delivery time depend on the destination country.
7. How long does order fulfillment take?
The fulfillment time depends on the type of product or service. Custom-made works may require more time because they are created by hand.
8. Can I return an order?
Returns are possible for ready-made products within 14 days of receiving the shipment. To request a return, send a message to [email protected] or use the contact form available on the Contact page.
Products made individually to order are not eligible for return.
9. Can I order a gift for someone?
Yes. Our offer also includes works that make thoughtful gifts for special occasions – portraits, handicrafts, bookmarks, and personalized ornaments.
10. Can I place an individual order for a personalized product?
Yes. If no product available in the store matches your needs, you can place an individual order via the form available on the website or by e-mail at [email protected].
11. How can I publish my book?
You should send the finished book manuscript in PDF format together with your contact details to [email protected] and then wait for the publisher's response. If your text is accepted, the publisher will get in touch with you.
12. In what format should I send my book or text?
Texts should be sent in PDF format, in line with the guidelines provided on the publisher's website in the For the Author section.
